My Heart Shaped Braid Hairstyle

MM had been in love recently with these hairstyles she viewed in YouTube and she just can’t help herself with it and oh well, a mom just got to do it.

She loved this heart shaped braid style that I really been replaying the vid a lot to perfect the shape and the braid as well. I am not a “fashionista mom” or the so called the “kikay mom” but for MM, I can be anyone, and I will do it for her. 

Here is the final look of what I did to MM’s hair. The heart shaped is noticeable and so as the braids from the side. I don’t have the video on the step by step instructions of it but you may google it.   

And after the hairstyle done, MM made a few posed for it. 

Here is MM wearing an MG dotted sleeveless tops and a Moose Gear faded jeans paired with her Barbie Pink Rubber shoes as she requested.

And here, you can see the clean look of the side braid. And MM wearing a mint green sleeveless dress with flower design from Moose Girl of course and a pink glittery flip flop.

So far, this heart shaped hairstyle is what I mastered so far. Next time I will explore more of it and blog it too. 

Christmas 2015

Celebrating Christmas Party at school is such an amazing experience for MM as she nailed it with her "Elf Styled" Costume.

Tops is a Moose Girl Sleeveless white color paired with a lime colored tutu and a high-cut party type converse shoes.

She is ready to kick off the school party and not to forget the Santa's Hat too.

Hello Christmas Vacation!

Christmas Vacation is here and MM is so happy that she get to have more time for both of us.

We got time to goof around, eat together, play and have some wacky pose.

Look at MM doing her wacky pose in a fashionista way.

MMs tops is a blue dotted 3/4 from Moose Gear and a Moose Gear Short. A green flip flop to make her feel at home and a big flower rainbow hairband to top it all.

I just can't believed that this kid is now 5 years old and as her mom, I am getting emotional looking at her grow up. Whew! Love you MM!

School Festival Days

December is the month where the School Festival Days of MM is celebrated.

She is excited to experience it for the first time and she's good to go.

And what MM wears is a very comfy one. A Moose Gear teal colored sleeveless tops and a Moose Gear denim shorts. A teal colored high cut party shoes from Converse to match the outfit of the day. And there she goes off to school!

December is on it's way

It is the BEST Season of the year and the cold wind is blowing in her ears like she is likely to experienced snow [lol]. Sorry MM we are an Asian Country we don't have snow here. 

Lately this morning, MM complains about the weather and she is shivering. She grabbed a jacket in her closet and as usual she loves to do a selfie.

MM loves this jacket according to her because of the color, she loves purple that much. And the sparkly and glittery thing. This sweater or jacket is from Moose Gear, it got some hoods at the back and the sequin butterfly purple design in front with a Moose Girl print.

And there it is, Welcome December! Christmas is coming.

MM's Pizza Making Activity

MM recently had her Pizza Making Activity and she is so happy with it that she always have these smiles in all of her photos.

The photo collage below shows the summary of the activity and as you can see MM on her Baker's Apron. And how MM and her classmates enjoyed much the school activity. MM also won a prize as she gets to answer the question asked by the Chef.

Halloween Trick or Treat 2015

What MM wears during the Trick or Treat Party this year is simple, and fashionable. If you notice she already wore the tops of this costume in her 2013 Halloween Party as "The Cat" and now I could use a little revision to it and turn her into a "Fashionable Witch".

After the Trick or Treat, MM chad to changed her outfit. It's a black diamond shaped print sleeveless tops from Moose Gear and she paired it with a black leggings to match the outfit.  

She never changes her shoes as she gets comfortable wearing it always. This is high cut party type converse for kids.

Salakot Costume - a Filipino Traditional Costume

Salakot Costume for a lady is mostly worn like this. This Salakot Costume had been use in Luzon to entertain visitors and guests way back. The costume represents more of the "Salakot", the head piece that is worn by little MM here.

A simple and elegant costume for Filipino that has been taught by school educators to children to let them be aware of the past culture as we Filipinos have.

MM is officially 5 years old

October 22, is the Big Day of MM. And it was a school day so the family decided to have a small snack party inside the classroom. MM and Lucho are on the same birthmonth, same age actually and oh well, MM made a pose at Goldilocks Official October Poster. MM definitely noticed the number 5 on that doubled layer cake. 

Here is MM wearing her Moose Gear checkered orange yellow combination polo dress and her pink doll shoes. She never takes off her id since this photo is taken after school and oh yes, noticed the socks too lol. 

 A close up smile and an obligatory photo, as she received her gift from her close friend, Miggy.

And here are the photos inside the classroom together with her classmate and the celebration at home too. Double the cake, double the celebration and she blows the candle twice too. 

MM is so happy that she is now officially 5. As she told me, she is now a big kid and she is not a baby anymore. Well, my dear MM, easy for you to say but you will always be my baby and no one can change that. Love this kid that much!

Feast of the Guardian Angel Celebration

Last October 3, 2015, the beloved school of MM celebrated the "Feast of the Guardian Angels".

They are required to wear an angel attire during the celebration and a simple "salo-salo" was then held after.

MM  had been a fan of Moose Gear Clothing and in fact, she really loves wearing them with pride.



Here, MM is wearing tops from Moose Gear newest and latest Aztec Collection. Bottoms is an ivory colored premium short collection from Moose Gear.  And because it's her Fun Day today, I let her wear a light pink colored leggings. Shoes from Converse Philippines and her hair is simply letting it down with her all time favorite, Hello Kitty Headband.

Celebrating the 117th Philippine Independence Day

Today marks the 117th anniversary of the Philippine Independence Day, and MM had her own way of celebrating Independence wearing a National Costume Filipiniana Style dress.

The fabric used in her National Costume is  most widely used fine fabric for formal Barongs and Dresses, if I am not mistaken the fabric is called an "Organza". Her hair is simply tied up to focus more on how a Filipina should be, simply simple. 

Tutus for Little Girls

Every girl is a princess and they love to be a Ballerina, I mean who wouldn't. They simply love doing those tip toes thingy that some parent can’t do. MM enjoys playing dress up, and being to portray being a fairy princess that does ballet at the same time. 

We stumbled upon this shop somewhere that sells ballerina items, and best to our luck, we found what we have been looking for.

MM found her a leotards, leggings and a ballet shoes, but, there’s a big “No, No” in this outfit.

MM wanted a fluffy tutus with ribbons and a three sister type of tutu skirt not the typical skirt attached to this leotards. I am so glad that Zalora now offers adorable clothing for little girls. I browse to their clothing line section, check on girls’ toddler dresses and viola! Found these two tutu skirt.  

I am positive enough that MM will love these tutus. And she will have her OOTD as the usual thing she does.

Almost Goodbye Summer

We are almost waving our hands to say Bye Summer Season and MM is all set for enrolment. Care Some Hoods

MM is up for a hoodie jacket/sweater.

MM wears a hoodie jacket from Moose Girl colored maroon and white that comes with a detachable hood. At the neckline it has buttons to detached the hood or not, depends on how you wear it.
