Salakot Costume - a Filipino Traditional Costume

Salakot Costume for a lady is mostly worn like this. This Salakot Costume had been use in Luzon to entertain visitors and guests way back. The costume represents more of the "Salakot", the head piece that is worn by little MM here.

A simple and elegant costume for Filipino that has been taught by school educators to children to let them be aware of the past culture as we Filipinos have.

MM is officially 5 years old

October 22, is the Big Day of MM. And it was a school day so the family decided to have a small snack party inside the classroom. MM and Lucho are on the same birthmonth, same age actually and oh well, MM made a pose at Goldilocks Official October Poster. MM definitely noticed the number 5 on that doubled layer cake. 

Here is MM wearing her Moose Gear checkered orange yellow combination polo dress and her pink doll shoes. She never takes off her id since this photo is taken after school and oh yes, noticed the socks too lol. 

 A close up smile and an obligatory photo, as she received her gift from her close friend, Miggy.

And here are the photos inside the classroom together with her classmate and the celebration at home too. Double the cake, double the celebration and she blows the candle twice too. 

MM is so happy that she is now officially 5. As she told me, she is now a big kid and she is not a baby anymore. Well, my dear MM, easy for you to say but you will always be my baby and no one can change that. Love this kid that much!

Moose Gear Holiday Collection 2015

MM is getting ready for her holiday get-up as Moose Gear launches their latest Holiday Collection in store. MM's is wearing a Moose Girl  3/4 sleeve blouse blue and sexy denim short also from Moose Girl, her kicks is from Converse her usual favorite.

Feast of the Guardian Angel Celebration

Last October 3, 2015, the beloved school of MM celebrated the "Feast of the Guardian Angels".

They are required to wear an angel attire during the celebration and a simple "salo-salo" was then held after.
